7 DAYS IN THE YUCATAN, MEXICO
Mexico is a traveler’s paradise. It features many different faces including desert snow-capped volcanoes, beautiful ancient ruins, modernized cities, old colonial towns, private high-end resorts, secluded beaches and a beautiful collection of exotic animals and tropical plants. This mix is the key to Mexico’s charm and result of the ever-increasing volume of visitors to the area.
ITINERARY
DAY 1- Arrival

Arrive at Cancun International Airport Mid-Morning

Someone will meet you at the baggage claim where they will help you grab your bags and escort you to your private, airconditioned car which will take you directly to your Resort.

Arrive at your resort, Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa to be greeted with a cool towel and glass of bubbly while checking in.

After your check in, settle in, unpack and relax for the evening prior to heading to dinner and touring around parts of the resort in the setting sun.

DAY 2- Relax at Resort

Wake up to the sun warming your face in your private beachfront room to get ready for a beautifully colorful breakfast that drips with fresh fruit, homemade and customized omelets and freshly squeezed fruit juice.

After your breakfast, enjoy your first day exploring the resort and enjoying time at the infinity pool that overlooks the crystal clear calm blue ocean waters only steps away. Enjoy are drink or two at the swim up bar or the beach swing bar overlooking the waters of the ocean.
DAY 3- Private Sail to Isla Mujeres

Explore the open sea during this full-day, private sailing trip aboard a 34-foot catamaran that takes you around the bay of Cancun, where you get a dreamlike view of the resorts that line the coast, and out to the beautiful Isla Mujeres. Swim or snorkel around parts of the second largest coral reef in the world or simply relax on the deck and enjoy the ride with a cold drink in hand. Spend the day at the beach or choosing from the several activities and shopping opportunities on the island.
DAY 4- Shopping in Playa Del Camren

Midmorning, your personal driver will meet you in the lobby of your resort and escort you to 5th avenue in playa de Carmen. Performances, luxury shopping and great eats await you and your guests there.

When you are ready to leave, meet with your driver at your agreed pickup spot and relax the remainder of the evening at the resort.
DAY 5- Xcaret Park

Xcaret Park, a nature park located in Playa Del Carmen contains dozens of activities, undergrounds rivers, cenotes and cultural wealth to keep a family/couple entertained for days!

Your driver will provide curbside drop-off at the park where you will embark on activities such as swimming through rivers, connecting with nature and revive old Mexican Traditions.

DAY 6- Resort Winddown

Take the day to enjoy good food, an amazing beach and picturesque views around your resort. Don’t forget to partake in a spa treatment at this top of the line and award-winning spa location. The evening can be used enjoying the on-resort performances near the infinity pool.
DAY 7- Travel Home

Californian offers many different opportunities to traveling families around the entire state! Geographically, it contains snow capped mountains, and beaches… It offers many different activities such as Amusement Parks, zoos, parks, surfing lessons, exploring historic sites, the list goes on.

DAY 1- Arrival

Arrive at LAX between 10am-1pm to avoid L.A Traffic.

Someone will meet you at the baggage claim where they will help you grab your bags and escort you to your private, airconditioned car which will take you directly to your Hotel in Anaheim at Grand Californian Hotel & Spa neighboring the two parks, Disneyland and Grand Californian Adventure Park.

Arrive at your hotel to be greeted with a glass of cucumber water to ease the check in process.

After your check in, settle in, unpack and relax for the evening prior to heading to dinner and touring around parts Anaheim to become versed of good breakfast locations and even tour around downtown Disney, grab some souvenirs and a chill dinner. Don’t stay up too late though, we have an early morning awaiting us for early morning magic to Disneyland at 7am!

DAY 2- Disneyland

Wake up to the sun shining through your curtains at as easy 6am. Head on your way out to Disneyland. Once inside, grab a quick breakfast on main street before heading out to the rides.

Make sure to head to Fantasyland first to head on rides that quickly fill up later in the day: Peter Pain, Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad and Snow White. Make your way through Frontierland to enjoy rides like Pirates of Caribbean (a great ride to rest your feet) and the Haunted Mansion for some Spooky Fun! Before moving out of Frontierland, make sure to grab lunch you made reservations for at Café Orleans. Enjoy the rest of the day taking advantage of Fast Pass rides and just enjoying the overall vibe.
DAY 3- Disneyland/Disney California Adventure Park

Day 3 is up to you about spending another day in Disneyland or changing it up by heading across the way to Disney California Adventure Park. If you and the family are a fan of “Car’s”, “Guardians of the Galaxy” or Marvel Characters, I would highly recommend visiting Californian Adventure to go through Cars Land early in the morning and meeting Marvel Characters like Captain America, and Blank Panther along the way!
DAY 4- Travel Day to San Diego

Even though this is a shorter trip, a less active day is a must in between activities… Enjoy the day by relaxing and sleeping in an extra hour or two. Head downstairs to your character dining experience and enjoy breakfast with the Chipmunks, Goofy and Minnie Mouse!

Check out and grab your driver to begin making your way to San Diego. Enjoy the rest while you can and head on over to take some photos of Balboa Park and some picture-perfect photos opportunities in the surrounding area.

When it gets to check in time, your driver will provide you with a curbside drop off at your hotel, Marriot Club Pulse. The high-rise building provides amazing views of the surrounding area with a great selection of snacks and room service, along with great in-house restaurants.
DAY 5- San Diego Zoo

Get ready for an action filled day at the San Diego Zoo… With an opening time of 9am, this gives you a chance to sleep in a little (only a 10-minute drive from your hotel) Be blown away by amazing flora (a trip by itself) rare animals and great food! Do not forget to take the whole zoo tour right before lunch to grab the opportunity to see a majority of the zoo via high bus (sit upstairs). You can scope out places you would like to visit for the second part of your day.
DAY 6- Travel Home

After breakfast, your cab will meet you in curbside for your hotel to drive you to the airport. Luggage transfers and curbside pickup will be of assistance. On your way home, relive the trip and all the memories created with your family!

DAY 2- Tortuguero National Park

Wake up to the sun shining through your curtains to get ready for your first excursion of the trip. You are journeying eastward to the Caribbean shore. Excursions to experience include a Banana Plantation, Tortuguero National Park, boating down waterways and experiencing sites of beautiful flora and endangered animals protected by the park. Have your camera ready! Get settled into your next hotel at Evergreen Lodge located in the park itself for a 2 night stay.
DAY 3- Tortuguero National Park/Canal Cruise

A local Naturalist escorts you on a leisurely boat ride amongst unspoiled sections of the park waterways, explaining the bountiful flora and fauna. Enjoy a fascinating stroll through an accessible portion of the rainforest. The peak nesting season (mid-July to mid-October) you may be blessed enough to witness an endangered green turtle laying her eggs under the glow of stars.
DAY 4- Tortuguero, Sarapiqui, Arenal

A morning boat transfer begins your voyage to the Sarapiqui area. Visit a Pineapple Farm, and learn about the history, cultivation, and industry of pineapples. Continue to your hotel in the luxurious town of Arenal, located near the Arenal Volcano. After relaxing for a bit, experience the magic of the resort’s pool hot jacuzzi, or consider a walk in the nearby nature trail in search of 400-year-old trees, toxic frogs, monkeys, birds, and perhaps small animals innate to the area.
DAY 5- Rest Day
Day 6- Arenal- Monteverde

After breakfast, continue to MONTEVERDE, where you will enjoy two days in the cloud forest. This afternoon take a guided tour on the SKYWALK hanging bridges, which combines trails and suspension bridges through the canopy of Monteverde Cloud Forest, to search for flora and fauna.
Day 7- Monteverde

visit Childrens Eternal Rainforest for a guided walking tour. Over 600 species of butterflies and 400 species of birds have been recorded inside this private reserve, along with 100 reptile and 120 mammal species that hide within the dense vegetation. Later, visit the family-owned Ecological Sanctuary, where you will explore the trails through coffee and banana plantations filled with endemic wildlife and beautiful scenery. After the walk, enjoy a COOKING CLASS to learn how to prepare authentic Costa Rican food like hand-made tortillas, picadilloes, and Gallo pinto. Dine on your creations for a homemade lunch! Tonight, your Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner, toasting an unforgettable discovery of Costa Rica.
Day 8- MONTEVERDE–SARCHI–SAN JOSÉ

En route to San José, visit SARCHI Village, known as the center of Costa Rican handcrafts and where you will see the artists in their workshops making the famous oxcarts. Next stop is Grecia Village to see the metal church that was imported from Belgium to Puerto Limon in 1897. The church was transported by oxcarts to its present-day location but sat in the plaza for 10 years before being reconstructed. ------------------------
DAY 9- Travel Home
